The Gymnastics and Martial Arts Centre (GMAC) was selected as the winner of the "Projects Up to £10m" category of the Construction News Quality Awards.

"The £7.5 million Centre, constructed by Thomas Vale, attracted the judges' attention for a number of reasons, not least for its adherence to the client brief. They described the GMAC as a project "that met all the client's requirements, within budget and programme."

ECL's scope of works included the design and installation of Lightweight Steel Framing, External Wall Insulation and Cedar Cladding.
