Rainscreen Cladding
Rainscreen cladding is the construction of façade rain screen system this consists of the sub frame and different finishes for example ceramic tiles, reconstituted stone boards, ceramic granite based on a natural stone board, high pressure laminates and many other things. This type of cladding is a attachment of an outer skin of the rear ventilated cladding to a new or existing building. This system is a form of double wall construction that uses the outer layer to provide the thermal installation; this will prevent excessive air leakage and carry wind loading. The outer layer is able to breath like a skin while the inner layer reduces the energy loss. This will help to keep the structural frame of the building completely dry, as the water is not able to reach it or the thermal installation. Water droplets cannot be driven through the panel joints or the opening because the rain screening means the wind pressure will act on the outer face of the panel and equalised in the cavity. During extreme weather conditions a minimal amount of water may penetrate the outer cladding, this will make the droplets run down to the cladding sheet and evaporate.
